These Accounts were audited, examined, and allowed by us,

Ar the Public Meeting of Subscribers, held at the Town Hall of Reading, March 4, 1841, the following Resolutions were carried unanimously:

1. "That the Report which has just been read, together with the statement of accounts as vouched by the auditors, be adopted by this meeting, and be printed for circulation.". Moved by the MARQUESS OF DOWNSHIRE, seconded by the Rector of Exeter College.

2. "That the names of LORD DYNEVOR and the REV. DR. FAWCETT, be added to the list of vice-presidents: that J. S. HARRISON, H. NORRIS, H. HANNAM, J. P. ANDERDON, W. BLANDY, and R. TULL, ESQRS., together with the REV. E. P. COOPER, C. P. GOLIGHTLY, H. D. HARRINGTON, DR. FRITH, J. E. ROBINSON, and A. CAMERON, be substituted as elected members of the Board in the stead of MAJOR WEYLAND, Principal of Magdalen Hall, J. PARKER, ESQ., Captain GARTH, M.G. THOYTS, and J. HOPKINS, ESQRS., and the REV. MESSRS. RUSHTON, WILSON, Cox, CHAMBERS, LANGLEY, AND NICHOLSON, who retire by rotation, according to the third resolution adopted at the primary meeting, or have become entitled to a seat at the Board upon other grounds."-Moved by THE Lord NorREYS, M. P., seconded by the REV. G. A. SELwyn.

3. "That the thanks of this meeting are due to the Secretaries, the Treasurers, the Inspectors, and other officers of the Board, for their gratuitous services during the past year."Moved by PHILIP PUSEY, ESQ. M.P., seconded by the REV. DR. BULL.

4. That the thanks of this meeting be given to the Worshipful the Mayor of Reading for the use of the Town Hall on the present occasion."-Moved by the Venerable the Archdeacon of Oxford, seconded by the REV. G. HULme.

5. "That this meeting do offer its most grateful acknowledgments to the Lord Bishop of the diocese for his kindness in presiding at this day's proceedings."-Moved by the Mayor of Reading, seconded by the REV. S. W. YATES.
